Dearest Olive:

I misdated that letter I wrote you yesterday, but you can make that correction yourself. It should have been dated the 26th. I have been chasing around this morning trying to make things just a little more comfortable around our home. Getting wood and various things. Dunevant [sp?] is boiling some clothes this morning. So far we have not had the cooties but we are not bragging.

This is another beautiful day and everything seems cheery,–but little activity on this front now but hard to tell when things will break loose. Any minute might bring forth something. I read a bulletin this morning saying that Pres. Wilson had referred the armistice proposal to the other allied countries. I hope hat something will come of it, but we cannot tell. I want this letter to leave in today’s mail.

Yours affectionately,

Clyde.
